We believe food is the greatest shared joy in the world. It brings people together in happiness, times of celebration, and quiet every day moments shared with friends and family. We believe in the beauty of fresh, wholesome ingredients treated with respect and the care they deserve.
Inspired by our grandmothers, mothers, and aunts who have taught us so much, we strive to preserve the rich traditions of food in the South, but bring our own global experiences to the table as well. Our chef driven menu will change seasonally, as we aim to partner with as many local farms as possible, but includes fresh seafood, braised meats, steaks, fresh vegetables and possibly some items you have never heard of or possibly always wanted to try. Our bar, made from 100 year old white oak felled in Pulaski county, will feature Georgia brewed beers, cocktails with southern flavors and regional wines.
Come dine with us and enjoy the unique experience of coming home to grandma's house for dinner with an elevated casual fine dining atmosphere.
Chef Chris was born in Hawkinsville then grew up in & around Perry and Unadilla. He acquired his love of cooking from his grandma, "Mamadot" (who is from Hawkinsville and the inspiration for Heritage ). His culinary adventures led him to work in some of the finest restaurants in Atlanta, Toronto, France, and Jacksonville, Florida. After 25 years in the restaurant business, he was called to "come home" to Hawkinsville. (Fun fact: He knows just about every TV theme song, so feel free to challenge him!)
Amy was born in Oregon and split her early years back and forth between San Francisco and Portland, before spending time in Jacksonville, Boston, London, and Humboldt County. She has spent 20 plus years in the service industry as a bartender, server, event manager, chef and butcher. During that time she received a Masters degree in Food and Culture from the University of Oregon. (Fun fact: She can tell you the scientific name of just about every muscle and how to cook it!)
